The Team You’ll Work With: The Mayor’s Office of Mass Engagement (OME) is responsible for strategizing, coordinating, and executing on engagement that reaches the masses of everyday New Yorkers.
We engage New Yorkers in shaping policy outcomes, demystifying government, and ensuring that the government remains accountable to serving the people of this great City. Our work is designed as a long term project – we are building the power of everyday New Yorkers and we are building a City that works for all of us.
The Problems You’ll Solve:
The Interagency Manager of Partnerships responsibilities include but are not limited to:
¿ Navigate complexity and fast-moving work while maintaining close attention to detail.
¿ Help OME staff and other government staff move shared work forward, even when there is ambiguity. ¿ Communicate with multiple stakeholders, inside and outside of government, inside and outside of OME, with thought and deference to rank and expertise.
¿ Operationalize workflows for Interagency Team and OME staff.
¿ Support in build and manage relationships with key partners for Interagency Team and OME staff. ¿ Identify gaps and work with OME staff members to develop materials and systems to fill gaps.
¿ Other duties as required.
About You: ¿ You are motivated, a self-starter who can manage complicated projects with minimal guidance. ¿ You have a nuanced understanding of complete and shifting relationships, context of hierarchy and specialization. ¿ You are a thoughtful, strategic, and clear communicator. ¿ You are an enthusiastic collaborator.

However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County.
