Exam calendar
When you can apply for a city exam.
Most city jobs hire from a civil service exam, and each exam takes applications only during its filing window, usually about three weeks. Miss it and you wait for the next one. Here is what DCAS has planned for exams anyone can take.
Closing dates can move. Openings below match DCAS's schedule. Closing dates are planned unless marked confirmed; the 911 operator exam's was extended by three weeks. The Notice of Examination on OASys is the final word, and filing happens there.
