**Job Purpose**
The Account Manager is responsible for managing business development activities within the Middle East and Africa territory, **maintaining key account relationships within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, **providing support to local sales channels and supporting the achievement of bookings, revenue and business goals.
Primary roles and responsibilities include the following:
– ** Optimize the capabilities of our Saudi Arabian channel partners** through training, coaching and sales activities support
– ** Increase the relationship with our key accounts in Saudi Arabia**:
– Define, align, and implement business development activities within the Middle East and Africa.
– Partner with marketing and regional commercial team to develop, implement market development programs
– ** Maintain a strong understanding of customer technical requirements**, translating and communicating with emphasis on producing effective sales training and strengthening the complete workflow selling concept
– Demonstrate deep technical credibility to influence key decision-makers on technology and product choices
– ** Drive sales agenda by generating new Leads** and close opportunities to exceed revenue goals
– Research prospective accounts to find new opportunities in target markets.
– Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives.
– Pursue leads and move them through the sales cycle
– Typically requires a University Degree/ Postgraduate, preferably in Physics, Engineering or Science related. MBA in Management Qualifications would be preferred, though not essential.
– ** Highly developed interpersonal skills for customer interaction.**:
– ** Excellent, enthusiastic, clear communication skills** to a diverse audience is critical to the success of this position.
– Systematic problem solving by working with customers and account team.
– Presentation skills and creating materials for presentations to internal and external audiences.
– Work experience: work experience in high tech capital equipment, research lab environment, specialty electron microscopy, spectroscopy, lithography, semiconductor, and/or materials characterization science machines is considered an advantage.
– Ability to work independent, self-starter.
– Ability to travel to customers, channel partners sites, industry events, internationally.
